    Role Overview:

    The Program Coordinator is an essential member of the CSB Operations Mailroom department. The Coordinator is responsible for multiple components of CSB’s federal reporting. You will stamp, scan, and place mail and checks in appropriate department mail folders. Mail is processed daily to ensure that other departments in the Child Support Bureau not delayed in payments, hearings, funds adjustements, enforcement processes, and overall customer service. You will handle the daily courier bag process, update returned mail addresses in the child support system, and attempt to remail documents. You will assist with special project mailings and overall processes for incoming documents. The ideal candidate will have excellent internal and external customer service skills, the ability to effectively manage time, and be able to meet deadlines.

     

    This position is in the central DCS Offices in Indianpolis, Indiana.

    Salary:

    The salary for this position traditionally starts at $34,216 but may be commensurate with education or work experience.

    A Day in the Life:

    Responsibilities include:

    + Reviewing, identifying, and assigning correspondence processed by the Indiana State Central Collection Unit (INSCCU), vendors, and the Department of Revenue.

    + Reviewing to ensure correspondence with checks are properly associated and processed for deposit.

    + Reviewing reports and statistics about processed correspondence.

    + Assisting in mailroom and Child Support Bureau operations as needed.

    What You'll Need for Success:

    You must meet the following requirements to be considered for employment:

    + General knowledge of the program area.

    + Basic knowledge of the rules and regulations pertaining to the assigned program area and its affects upon other agency operations.

    + Ability to gather and compile program materials.

    + Ability to communicate effectively.

    + Ability to operate effectively in a group decision-making process.

    + Tact in dealing with other agency personnel and the public.

    + Basic knowledge of accounting principles.

    + Able to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.

    Supervisory Responsibilities/Direct Reports:

    This role may be utilized in a supervisory capacity based on agency needs.
