• Senior/Lead Architect

    Description

    We are looking for a Senior/Lead Architect to guide and inspire a team of architects working across diverse domains and technologies. In this long-term contract position, you will play a pivotal role in driving innovation, aligning technology strategies with business goals, and ensuring architectural excellence. This position is based on site in Southern California and offers the opportunity to lead large transformative initiatives.

    Responsibilities:

    • Lead and mentor a team of over 20 architects across various domains and technologies.

    • Define and implement architectural standards, ensuring alignment with business objectives and project requirements.

    • Build and nurture strong relationships with stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and internal teams.

    • Drive innovation by exploring and integrating emerging technologies into architectural designs.

    • Oversee the design and development of scalable, secure solutions across multiple platforms.

    • Collaborate with senior leadership to align technology strategies with organizational goals.

    • Manage resource allocation, performance evaluations, and architectural assignments.

    • Establish and maintain governance frameworks to ensure the effectiveness of architecture services.

    • Conduct regular reviews of architectural designs and provide feedback for continuous improvement.

    • Track and mitigate architectural risks, ensuring project goals are achieved efficiently.

     

    Requirements • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

     

    • At least 15 years of experience in architecture and technology leadership roles.

    • Expertise in cloud computing platforms such as Azure, enterprise architecture, and software development.

    • Strong knowledge of microservices, containerization, and DevOps practices.

    • Experience with security, compliance, and scalable solution design.

    • Familiarity with data analytics, AI/ML technologies, and mobile/web application development.

    • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
