Job Title: Forklift Operator

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Laborer to assist in our warehouse area. Our facility specializes in high-reliability oil, gas, and petrochemical fabrication and piping products, including the manufacturing and global shipment of heavy hatches. The primary role involves maintaining cleanliness and organization within the warehouse.

Responsibilities

+ Assist in cleaning and organizing the warehouse area.

+ Operate forklifts and sweepers to manage trash and scrap.

+ Pick items using a paper pick list and prepare orders for machine operators and welders.

+ Assist in loading and unloading trucks.

+ Help with inventory management through cycle counts.

Essential Skills

+ Experience with general labor, production, and the use of hand and power tools.

+ Familiarity with tape measures, forklifts, and picking/kitting processes.

+ Forklift experience.

+ Basic computer skills with a willingness to learn SAP (knowledge of Excel is beneficial).

+ Attention to detail.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Willingness to work independently and perform cleaning tasks.

Work Environment

The warehouse area is very clean and organized, though other parts of the shop may be less so due to welding and fabricating activities. The environment is not climate-controlled, but heaters are available for the winter months.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
