Hiring Travelling Laborer/Tech – Work on High-Impact Civil & Industrial Projects
Employment Type: Full-Time
Position Overview:
We’re seeking a hardworking and reliable Laborer/Technician to join our dynamic team. This role involves hands-on field work, supporting drilling and ground improvement operations. You’ll travel approximately 50% of the time, with projects typically lasting 1–2 months.
Key Responsibilities:
+ General site cleanup and maintenance
+ Digging trenches and moving hoses
+ Spotting equipment and compacting soil
+ Handling drill piping and cleaning equipment
+ Rebar work and mounting wood lagging boards
+ Operating forklifts and skid steers
Qualifications:
+ 1+ year of experience in construction, agriculture, dirt work, welding, concrete, or landscaping
+ Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
+ Able to lift 75 lbs regularly
+ Willing and able to travel extensively
+ Experience with forklifts and skid steers preferred
Additional Skills:
+ Experience in concrete, skilled, or general labor
+ Comfortable with occasional night shifts (approx. 10%)
+ Capable of physically demanding tasks
Work Environment:
+ 5–6 days/week, 10-hour shifts (avg. 50 hours/week)
+ Travel across the Rocky Mountain region, Kansas, North Dakota, Texas, and Louisiana
+ Mileage reimbursement at government rate + boarding and $40/day per diem
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $26.00/hr.
