ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Setup And Monitor SPC Collecting Activities

• Release all Jobs Prior to Manufacturing

• Comply with ISO and Customers QC Standards, Procedures and Specifications

• Prepare First Article Inspection packages, IAW AS9102

• Develop Quality Inspection Plans.

• Develop PFMEA, control plans, flow charts and any APQP, as required.

• Track and upkeep PPAP requirements

• Participate in root cause and corrective action items utilizing 8D methodology

• Train Quality Inspectors on proper inspection techniques

• Follow Routers Instructions

• Experience with Geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) is a system for defining and communicating engineering tolerances.

Inspections of products can takes various amounts of time. Some pieces can take up to 3 -5 days. Others can be completed in a few hours.

• Perform First Piece, In process, and Final Inspections using CMM/Layout Inspection to ensure the parts meet blueprint specs.

• Prepare Inspection Method Sheets.

*Baker Hill's capabilities include 5 axis milling, CNC turning, wire and Ram EDM. They manufacture components as small as 0.250" up to 83" in Diameter.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $28.00/hr.
