E-Commerce Merchandise Processor

Job Description

As an E-Commerce Merchandise Processor, you will be responsible for processing orders, packing items, and utilizing an RF barcode scanner to pick products. You will then proceed to the processing station to finalize the orders. This role is situated within the e-commerce department, contributing to efficient warehouse operations.

Responsibilities

+ Process orders and pack items accurately.

+ Use an RF barcode scanner to pick products.

+ Make boxes and replenish supplies as needed.

+ Stack pallets of merchandise ready for shipment.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in warehouse packing and distribution.

+ Proficiency in using RF barcode scanners.

+ Ability to effectively label and organize merchandise.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Previous warehouse experience is preferred.

Work Environment

The work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 7am to 3:30pm, with potential overtime and weekend shifts required during peak periods, especially around Black Friday. The position is initially a 3 to 4-week assignment starting on November 6th. The dress code is casual, requiring closed-toed shoes. Personal items must be packed in a clear bag, and employees must pass through a metal detector upon entering the facility. Phones and smartwatches are not permitted inside. Breaks include a 20-minute and a 10-minute session, and a shared locker is provided for lunches. Spanish speakers are welcome.

This is a Contract position based out of Staunton, VA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.15 - $19.15/hr.
