Summary You will serve as a INVENTORY MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the Navy Munitions Command Pacific East Asia Division of NMCPAC EAD UNIT GUAM. The President has ordered a government-wide hiring freeze subject to certain limited exceptions. This position is subject to the hiring freeze. Responsibilities You will receive, review, process, and monitor incoming requisitions and take appropriate action for completion. You will use an automated ammunition accounting system, Ordnance Information System (OIS) to verify availability of material. You will analyze, plan, and coordinate layouts of warehouses, sheds, magazines, and outside storage areas on basis of type of material and characteristics. You will be responsible for preparing, reviewing, issuing, and following of detailed load plan and schedules. You will provide detailed technical advice and assistance in areas of specialized ordnance management to support command assess management team, and other customers. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: performing inventory management services such as resolving issues and problems of a procedural nature in ordnance supply operations, planning, or program management.
