As a Finance/ERP Process Lead Consultant you will help bring structure, stability, and process improvements across Finance, Operations, and IT for our client. This role is highly collaborative and hands-on, ideal for someone who can “get into the weeds” of accounting processes and ERP systems, understand root causes, and implement solutions that stick. You will play a critical role in stabilizing accounting processes following recent system changes (Oracle R12) and turnover, ensuring that operations, accounting, and costing are aligned and functioning smoothly.

This is a mostly remote role (80–90%) with periodic travel to plant locations and leadership offices in Houston, TX or Southern Ohio.

+ Dive deep into accounting processes and ERP (Oracle R12) configuration to identify and fix root-cause issues.

+ Build and document sustainable processes for Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, account reconciliations, and costing.

+ Partner closely with Finance, Operations, and IT to align systems, workflows, and reporting.

+ Serve as a liaison with external teams documenting business workstreams and controls.

+ Use data and AI-based assessments to spot trends and address systemic issues, not just symptoms.

+ Provide floor-level support as needed to ensure smooth execution across plants and shared services.

+ Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree or CPA preferred.

+ Strong experience with Oracle R12 (implementation, troubleshooting, process optimization). OneStream is a plus.

+ Proven ability to stabilize operations, build processes, and streamline workflows.

+ Strong manufacturing experience.

+ Ability to build consensus across Finance, Ops, and IT teams.

+ Knowledge of costing, manufacturing, and how finance interacts with operations.

+ Capable of liaising between leadership, plant operations, and external advisors

+ Ability to work 80–90% remote with travel to Houston and/or Southern Ohio plants as needed.

+ Variety of workplace arrangements including hybrid, remote, onsite.

+ Compensation commensurate with employee qualifications, experience, and other factors including geographic location, market, and operational factors.

+ Pay Range: $75-$100 per hour.
