    Schedule: M-F 9:00am- 5:00pm

     

    Pay: $122,100-$152,600 10% bonus (bonus, excellent healthcare benefits, unlimited PTO), relocation assistance

    Overview:

    Our client, a global medical device leader, is seeking a Manager, Manufacturing Process Development (NPI–Design Transfer) to drive the transition of electromechanical devices from R&D to manufacturing. This role provides leadership and technical guidance to the engineering team, ensures FDA and quality compliance, and partners cross-functionally with R&D, manufacturing, quality, marketing, and regulatory. The manager will also spearhead process improvements to boost efficiency, quality, and overall operational performance.

    Responsibilities:

    + Lead design transfer from R&D to manufacturing for electromechanical medical devices

    + Provide leadership, mentoring, and technical decision-making support for engineering team

    + Ensure compliance with FDA and quality regulations during design transfer and production

    + Collaborate cross-functionally with R&D, manufacturing, quality, marketing, and regulatory

    + Drive continuous process improvement initiatives in manufacturing

    Requirements:

    + Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (or equivalent experience)

    + Minimum 10 years’ experience, preferably in medical devices

    + Experience with design transfer (R&D to manufacturing)

    + People leadership experience (managing direct reports)

    + Technical leadership in electromechanical systems / process development

    + Strong cross-functional collaboration (manufacturing, R&D, regulatory, quality)

    + Experience with FDA/Quality System compliance and design transfer

    + Proven ability to mentor and lead engineers
