Cook Manager - Western And Centeral Steuben

LOCATIONS: ALFRED ALMOND & JASPER TROUPSBURG (WESTERN AND CENTRAL STUBEN)
Full-time (1.0 FTE), 8-hour day, 185 days per year, school calendar, summer work as needed
+ Assist with leadership and management of the Food Service program
+ Complete paperwork related to the Child Nutrition Program
+ Utilize computer programs including Excel, email, etc.
+ Provide training for the cooking staff
+ Provide supervision of Food Service staff
+ Other duties as assigned
Job Qualifications
AAS Degree (specializing in foods, nutrition or institutional management) OR High School Diploma or equivalent, plus 4 years’ experience in the preparation of food on a large scale.
+ Previous food service management experience
+ Good verbal, written and computer skills, including Word, Excel and Outlook
+ Must be able to use Microsoft Excel
+ Demonstrated supervisory, recordkeeping, planning and problem-solving skills and training and customer service skills
SALARY RANGE: Salary based on related work experience and annual hours scheduled. May include additional paid summer work as needed. Comprehensive benefit package included.
