I. Job Summary
Under general supervision, provides data and work assessment, reporting, and recommendations within assigned areas of expertise. Provides input in order to support and enhance overall department workflow, process improvement and work quality. Partners with the Quality team & Vendor Operations leadership to ensure auditor and re-auditor roles remain current and well calibrated on LOB scoring guidelines through monthly reporting and contributions as an SME during the scoring decision appeals process.
II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other minor duties may be assigned.
• Actively participates in key departmental and divisional initiatives when called upon Subject Matter expert for assigned functions.
• Documents standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all key quality functions, developing a process and schedule for updates as business process evolves. Manages this information in multiple platforms while modernizing the materials and storage as we evolve.
• Possess strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to organize and present procedural content in a logical fashion.
• Resolves issues arising from internal department functions, or as brought forth by internal or external customers to assigned department.
• Tracks issues to resolution within department and in partnership with other groups.
• Assists with special projects within assigned department or as part of cross-functional teams as required or assigned.
• Determines areas of risk as new or changed processes are implemented.
• Recommends changes, updates and processes for continuous improvement in areas of expertise.
• Evaluates current auditing methods and materials for assigned group and recommend improvements. Reviews, creates and facilitate department training as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
III. Supervisory Responsibilities
This job has no direct supervisory duties, however will provide guidance and assistance as required by management. This may include providing feedback to front line auditors in addition to assisting with appeals of audit scoring decisions. This position does not have hiring/termination or employee disciplinary authority.
IV. Qualifications
The requirements listed below are representative of the qualifications necessary to perform the job.
A. Education and Experience
Education: High School Diploma or GED (accredited).
Experience: 2 years of Operations experience with a minimum of 1 year in WMSBS Vendor Operations or similar position.
B. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations or Other Requirements
+ Internal candidates must be performing in an above average capacity in their current position and be an employee in good standing.
+ No written or final disciplinary actions of any type within 180 days prior to eligibility of achieving level status
+ Proficient in MS Office
+ Strong keyboarding skills and words per minute
+ Professional verbal and email communication skills

Normal setting for this job is: Remote local to Windsor, CT office (with minimum two days in the Windsor, CT office per month)
The expected base pay range for this remote, local to Windsor, CT office position is $54,500-$67,000. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific salary offered to a successful candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s relevant experience, education, training, certifications, qualifications, and work location.
