    Job Title: Digital Press Team Leader

     

    Shift: 1st Shift

     

    Our Digital Press Team Leader provides leadership and a high-level of skill sets in support of a variety of Digital press equipment and supporting processes. The incumbent uses a combination of mechanical and computer skills to ensure the best possible reliability and operation of equipment. Capable of operating each piece of equipment on short notice as staffing may dictate. Performs administrative functions that promote the production flow in accordance with pre-set timelines. Shifts available staff to account for production variances. Achieves quality operations that are in accordance with department standards, and plant goals. Stages work and materials to produce precise quality finished goods, on-time, ready for shipment. Ensure the exact preparation of finished goods for shipment including boxing, labels, and skids. Coordinates preventive and emergent maintenance including repairs, parts, production defects and system problems with Maintenance and Supervisor. Reviews reports to verify and track production. Trains others in equipment operation and process improvement. Keeps area clean and hazard free and complies with all aspects of the plant’s Safety program.

    Qualifications:

    + High School degree or GED required.

    + Extensive experience in multiple Digital Press Production equipment.

    + 3-5 years of relevant production experience and/or light industrial maintenance.

    + Must be mechanically inclined and have the knowledge to troubleshoot equipment.

    + Proven leadership ability & great attitude required.

    + Good communication skills - written and verbal.

    + Able to follow written and verbal instructions.

    + Willing to work flexible hours, including shift work, and overtime with short notice.

    + Works well under the pressure of deadlines.

    + Must have flexibility to learn and use new technology.

    + Must be able to lift 40 lbs.

    + Strong team player with decision making ability.

    + Ability to work standing through 8- or 12-hour shifts.

    + Must be flexible to work off shifts when required.

    + Must have good computer skills.

    + Ability to lead & train others to achieve quality and productivity standards.

    + Complies with all safety and operations procedures.

    + Excellent attendance record.
