Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a GNC Principal Engineer in the Metro Phoenix, AZ Area. Our client provides innovative solutions for national security, commercial aerospace, and space exploration. As a GNC principal Engineer you will be responsible for collaborating/leading with other individuals to create and develop algorithms for simulations and testing on flight hardware and software systems.

Skills and Requirements

- Bachelor's or advanced degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

- At least 8+ years of experience in guidance, navigation, and control systems for aerospace applications.

- Active Clearance is required.

-Experience with autopilot.

- Strong knowledge of tracking and IR discrimination.

-Experience with linear quadratic estimation (Kalman Filtering).

-Testing, implementation, and design, requirements gathering, tracking/seeker algorithms with launch systems and missles. -leadership skills
