• IT Operations Scrum Master/Project Manager

    Job Description

    One of our Fortune 100 clients is seeking an experienced hybrid Project Manager/Scrum Master to support multiple programs within a large-scale enterprise IT Operations environment. This role is critical to ensuring successful delivery across initiatives such as Capacity Management, Technology Lifecycle Management, Operations, and Cost Optimization. Each program is led by a dedicated Product Manager, and this PM/Scrum Master will serve as the single point of contact across all programs ensuring alignment, driving execution, and facilitating communication between teams and stakeholders. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in infrastructure and operations, combined with deep Agile expertise, and will be ready to step into a fast-moving environment hit the ground running from day one.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Act as the central liaison across four IT Operations programs, each with its own Product Manager.

     

    Serve as the single point of contact for all project-related activities, ensuring consistency and coordination across workstreams.

     

    Facilitate Agile ceremonies and ensure teams follow Agile/SAFe best practices.

     

    Manage project timelines, deliverables, and dependencies across multiple initiatives.

     

    Support both technical and administrative aspects of project execution.

     

    Ensure teams understand their objectives, stay aligned with program goals, and deliver on commitments.

     

    Collaborate with geographically dispersed teams and stakeholders to remove blockers and maintain momentum.

     

    Use Azure DevOps (ADO) and Microsoft Office Suite to track progress, manage documentation, and report status.

    Skills and Requirements

     

    7-10 years experience as a hybrid Scrum Master/Project Manager

     

    Agile and/or SAFe expertise and best practices

     

    Prior experience working in an infrastructure/IT Operations organization ( ITSM, Capacity Management, Storage, etc.)

     

    Experience in Azure cloud preferred; will accept expertise in alternate cloud provider

     

    Able to manage teams in dispersed geographic locations

     

    Excellent written and oral communication

     

    Proactive in approach

     

    Proficient in ADO and MS Office Suite

     

    CSM or SSM required PMP
