Responsibilities:
The Program Manager is responsible for managing large-scale portfolio programs aligned to strategic objectives that include multiple projects.
• Responsible for successful delivery of program
• Ensure program milestone deliverables are completed and approved at every stage of the program lifecycle
• Assist with the continuous improvement of program / project management best practices, processes, and tools
• Responsible for ensuring program closure activities are completed
• Lead stakeholders in the refinement of the program charter
• Collaborate with business owners and sponsor on the identification and assignment of business resources
• Develop and maintain overall program schedule and WBS ensuring that all project schedules roll up appropriately
• Collaborate with IT point of contact on the identification and assignment of IT resources
• Develop program resource plan including forecast of IMO FTEs and contractors
• Ensure compliance to IMO Governance audit requirements
• Develop and maintain program budget
• Capture and consolidate IMO, IT and business estimates for the program
• Assess, manage, and control program scope, schedule, and budget change impacts
• Work closely with business executives to ensure assigned programs aligns with business strategy and are properly funded, resourced, and managed
• Maintain program stakeholder matrix
• Drive cross-functional communication between impacted business and IT areas
• Work with Talent Development and Communications to develop project communication and training plans
• Ability to mentor project managers and business analysts of all levels
• Facilitate and drive Program Stakeholder meetings
• Represent program in governance meetings
• Review and approved program meeting minutes
• Provide regular reporting and maintain ongoing communications to senior management, stakeholders and executive sponsors
• Track, compile and report program metrics and budget
• Advocate for and adhere to IMO standards, tools and processes
• Identify, log, and manage risk, implement mitigation strategies, contingency plans, and communicate/escalate to stakeholders
• Maintain program RAID
• Identify, log, assign and resolve or escalate program issues, hindrances, and blockers using company best practices
• Responsible for quality or program SharePoint site and program document repository
• Produce detailed reports, business decision documents, meeting minutes, and notification on assigned program

Skills and Requirements
5+ years of EPMO/BPMO/IMO focused program/project management experience (This is not an IT PM, but a PM that will lead workstream teams of internal SMEs and external stakeholders, 20+ members, to support business workstreams over the company and the target company)
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
Strong healthcare insurance experience, understanding the internal functions of a payer
Knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid
Merger and Acquisition experience, integrating acquired health plans
Experience working in project management software
Experience managing a project of up to $10M+ in budget Program Management Certification (PgMP)
Agile experience
