    Summary You will serve as a FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST of ASN. Responsibilities You will articulate budget themes and strategies in deliverables for senior leadership in the DON, OSD, OMB, and Congress and develop analytical techniques to produce effective narrative, data content, and trends in support of the budget. You will prepare the budget rollout brief and supporting documentation for the press, congressional staffs, OSD, OMB, and other senior organizations. You will identify performance improvement initiatives and track throughout the budget cycle. You will develop supporting memos, milestone briefs, and updates in order to provide actionable guidance across the DON for an integrated Program/Budget strategy. You will develop and produce summary DON program/budget for both internal use and for presentation to higher authority. You will provide analysis and point papers supporting the DON’s annual submission of Continuing Resolution (CR) anomalies as required. You will coordinate the development of Continuing Resolution impacts and proposed anomalies for submission to OSD. Develop information papers for senior leaders on CR impacts. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience reviewing and adjusting financial estimates for assigned programs to ensure realistic funding and preventing budget shortfalls. Experience leading budget processes and interpreting guidance to produce budget exhibits that comply with departmental policies. Experience leading teams to develop milestones and processes that integrate budget themes and leadership priorities into holistic budget and program strategy deliverables. Experience using specialized program/budget software as well as Microsoft products to produce concise and meaningful presentations and spreadsheets for use by senior leadership.
