    Position Summary

    The Senior Manager – Fleet Implementations is responsible for leading the DCC launch team in the successful implementation of customer solutions. This role plays a critical part in supporting sales initiatives and, on occasion, operational needs. Implementation projects can vary significantly in complexity from straightforward DCC solutions to cross-functional initiatives involving multiple product lines. Solutions may range from basic driver support to full-scale dock labor integration and facility design. This individual will be accountable for developing and executing the team’s strategic approach, configuring resources appropriately, and ensuring all materials, processes, and plans are in place to deliver flawless, high-quality new business implementations.

     

    The Senior Manager will lead a team of project managers, providing direction and oversight to ensure all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with organizational goals.

    Responsibilities:

    • Lead implementation team in centralizing Fleet Manager field activities into TSSC, along with identifying other non-value activities for possible centralization

    • Actively participate in start-up implementation team with a core responsibility to lead Fleet Manager configuration and implementation activities for field operations with new DCC start-ups

    • Assist in Improving Fleet Manager compliance metrics - develop / monitor key performance indicators. Identify areas of improvement and work with TSSC management on those improvements.

    • Develop, maintain and deliver Fleet Manager training

    • Other projects as assigned

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s Degree required

    • 7 - 10 years of relevant experience related to Fleet Management required

    • PMP certification preferred or willingness to work towards obtaining PMP when in the role

    • In-depth knowledge of Penske Logistics’ business practices and functional expertise within the DCC Product Line preferred.

    • Project Management experience preferred

    • Fleet Manager expertise preferred

    • Ability to lead others required

    • Must be able to translate goals to field team

    • Ability to develop the Team & evaluate talent required

    • Must be results driven & goal oriented with a high level of energy

    • Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job

    • Willingness to travel as necessary, work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history), and drug screening are required.
