Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Credit and Collections Analyst to join our NFC Collections and Asset Management Group. This position plays a critical role in managing and maintaining the health of our retail and lease receivables portfolio, with a focus on collections, account resolution, and customer service.
ABOUT NFCNavistar Financial Company (NFC) is the captive finance company for International Motors, LLC* and the provider of InternationalTM Financial services.
Responsibilities
+ Monitor customer accounts to ensure timely payment and address delinquencies.
+ Notify customers of missed payments or non-sufficient funds (NSF) and work toward resolution.
+ Coordinate end-of-lease activities including turn-ins, extensions, or equipment purchases.
+ Communicate with customers via phone and email to resolve payment issues and maintain positive relationships.
+ Follow established procedures for collection efforts, including escalations when necessary.
+ Manage the repossession process in cases of customer default.
+ Process account modifications such as extensions, refinances, and maintenance adjustments.
+ Handle bankruptcy cases, title issues, and insurance documentation as needed.
Minimum Requirements
+ Bachelor’s degree
+ At least 1 year of credit/collections or asset management experience
OR
+ Master’s degree
OR
+ At least 3 years of credit/collections or asset management experience
Additional Requirements
+ Qualified candidates, excluding current employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States. We do not anticipate providing employment related work sponsorship for this position (e.g., H-1B status)
Desired Skills
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
+ Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
+ Knowledge of credit and collections procedures, preferably in the transportation or financial services industry.
+ Understanding of finance and lease documentation, insurance requirements, and lien perfection.
+ Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
+ Bilingual in Spanish is a plus but not required
