As a **Geotechnical Engineer I** **,** in our **Manchester, NH** office, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable hands-on field experience in geotechnical engineering, while contributing to the design and investigation of earthen structures and roadways. Alongside our experienced engineering team, you will collect and interpret field data, assist in technical documentation, and support project planning and cost estimation.

What You'll Do:

+ Assist in the investigation and design of earthen structures and roadways

+ Collect and help interpret data through research, file reviews, field observations and measurements, field testing, and other methods

+ Assist in preparing detailed plans, technical specifications, and reports

+ Perform computations and process data using computer software or other established methods

+ Observe and document field activities and prepare construction documentation reports

+ Assist in preparing cost estimates for design implementation

+ Perform site inspections under the supervision of senior engineers

+ Demonstrate strong technical writing and communication skills

What You Bring:

+ Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution, focusing on Geotechnical coursework.

+ 0-2 years of relevant work experience

+ CAD experience is a plus

+ Strong calculation skills are preferred

+ The ability to interpret work plans

+ Must have a valid Driver’s License

Salary Range:

The compensation range starts at $65,000 and is based on the position, experience, and licensure.
