• Current GCSD Certified Teacher
• Effective or Highly Effective as determined by the Annual Professional Performance Review, Tenure status preferred
• Is able to communicate well in written and oral format
• Shows evidence of leadership skill and ability
• Shows attention to detail
Position Summary/Responsibilities:
Schedule School Seal of Biliteracy Committee Meetings: October, January, March, May and create agendas
Facilitate Building Seal of Biliteracy Committee Meetings
Advertise to students and schedule interest meetings
Track student data
Communication with students,advisors and district office
Support SBC Admin with scheduling and preparing for exams
Communicating and Planning for Presentation Day with building
Sharing results from Presentation Day and Exams
Planning for awards and celebrations and distribute medallions
May be required to serve on the district Seal of Biliteracy Advisory Committee
Estimated Hours = 25 hours (28 hours if this person represents their school on the district committee)
