We are looking for a** **Collision Shop Auto Body Estimator (experienced or willing to learn)** **to join the team!
+ **Schedule** : Full-Time Monday - Friday, 7:30am to 5pm
+ **Compensation: $40,000 - $70,000** based upon experience
What does an Estimator do?
+ **Excellent customer service is a top priority** ; it's our job to turn that customer's difficult situation around.
+ Work with customers to **complete an accurate estimate** according to appropriate Insurance Company guidelines.
+ **Follow the job through the entire process** from initial greeting, handling all insurance communications, overseeing parts ordering, keeping the customer updated, maintaining quality control, to final delivery.
+ Identify repair work needed by working with customers and technicians to address hidden damage etc
+ Compute repair cost, generate itemized repair order and explain the estimate to the customer.
+ Keep customer informed and updated throughout the repairs.
+ Maintain Customer Satisfaction score at or above designated standards.
_You Must..._
+ **Have experience** **OR** **be eager and willing to learn with a drive for a career path in the auto industry!**
+ **Having a NYS Independent Appraisers License** **_and being familiar with the various insurance guidelines is a plus but not required!_**
+ Have a high work ethic and positive attitude, be organized and detail oriented
+ Have excellent communication and customer service skills
+ Be at least 18 years old, eligible to work in the US, able to pass a drug screen and have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record

POSITION SUMMARY
A Collision Center Advisor/Estimator is responsible for properly and effectively estimating a vehicles primary and secondary damage to provide an accurate estimate of repairs.
DUTIES** **AND** **RESPONSIBILITIES
The Collision Center Advisor/Estimator is accountable for performing the duties and responsibilities described below. The list, however, is not necessarily an exhaustive description of the duties and responsibilities associated with the job.
+ Estimate collision vehicles for repair
+ Manage repair jobs from start to finish
+ Work with Technicians to write accurate estimate supplements
+ Greeting customers upon arrival
+ Incoming and outgoing telephone calls
+ Email correspondence
+ Booking and closing repair orders
+ Cash-out customers
+ Writing purchase orders
+ Matching insurance estimates to our CCC One estimating system
+ Learn Rome Management computer system
+ Learn Dealer operating computer system
+ Perform other duties and responsibilities as needed

REQUIRED COMPETENCIES
+ Detail-oriented, dependable, and willing to learn in a fast-paced environment
+ Automotive related experience is helpful
+ Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload
+ High motivation, work ethic, and enthusiasm
+ Professional appearance and attitude
+ Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
+ Some computer knowledge and/or experience
+ Must be at least 18 years of age and eligible to work in the U.S.
+ Must be able to pass a drug test
+ Acceptable driving record and valid NYS driver’s license
+ Estimator’s license is a plus
+ Previous automotive service writing and/or mechanic experience beneficial

WORK SCHEDULE
Full-time employees are regularly scheduled for 40 hours within the confines of our operating hours. Part-time employees are regularly scheduled for anything less than 40 hours. Overtime as needed and approved by the manager. All employees are required to take meal breaks in accordance with New York state law.
