Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) | $33/hr or $2,000/week Travel Package | Central Point, OR | Full-Time | K–12 | 2025–2026 School Year

Amergis Educational Staffing is seeking a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to support students across multiple school sites in Central Point, Oregon. This in-person role begins September 29, 2025, and runs through the end of the 2025–2026 school year. Candidates may choose between a $33/hour rate or a weekly travel package of $2,000. Virtual interviews with the SPED team are available.

Position Highlights

+ Location: Central Point, OR

+ Grade Level: K–12

+ Caseload: Floating between a few nearby schools

+ Schedule: Monday–Friday, 40 paid hours/week

+ Start Date: ASAP

+ Duration: 35 weeks

+ Modality: In-person only

+ Interview: Virtual

Key Responsibilities

+ Assist the Speech-Language Pathologist in delivering speech and language services

+ Support clinical, educational, documentation, and treatment activities

+ Work within the scope of the assigned plan of care

+ Collaborate with school teams to support student communication goals

Requirements

+ Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in speech-language pathology or communication disorders

+ Completion of 100+ hours of supervised fieldwork or equivalent

+ Current Oregon SLPA license or eligibility to apply

+ One year of SLPA experience (preferred)

+ Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements

+ CPR certification, TB screening, and health certificate if applicable

+ Must be at least 18 years of age
