Overview
As a Client Growth Strategy Manager at CJ, you will serve as the day-to-day strategic lead for a portfolio of advertiser accounts. You will be responsible for developing and driving performance marketing strategies that align with client goals, drive measurable growth, and support CJ’s broader connected commerce vision.
This role requires a blend of critical thinking, client relationship management, and cross-functional coordination. You will collaborate closely with Media Investment, Channel Growth, and Client Operations teams to ensure seamless execution of campaigns and deliverables. You’ll also play a key role in identifying growth opportunities, optimizing performance, and helping clients evolve into outstanding affiliate marketers.
Responsibilities

+ Be responsible for the planning and execution for a portfolio of advertiser accounts, ensuring alignment with client goals and CJ’s growth objectives.
+ Develop and present seasonal, quarterly, and annual growth strategies, forecasts, and performance roadmaps.
+ Build and route media briefs and investment mentorship in collaboration with Media Investment Planning.
+ Lead regular client calls and strategic meetings, delivering insights, recommendations, and performance updates.
+ Monitor program performance and proactively find opportunities for optimization and upsell.
+ Stay informed on industry trends, vertical shifts, and competitive benchmarks to guide client strategy.
+ Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely execution of deliverables, including campaign launches, reporting, and partner activations.
+ Submit and handle operational tickets and requests to support program execution.
+ Supply to the development of strategic materials, including QBRs, business reviews, and executive presentations
Qualifications
What we look for:
+ 4–6 years of experience in client strategy, performance marketing, or digital media.
+ Strong understanding of affiliate marketing, retail media, and connected commerce.
+ Proven ability to manage client relationships and deliver strategic recommendations.
+ Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
+ Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and translate it into actionable insights.
+ Experience working cross-functionally in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
+ Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field.

Compensation Range: $73,910 - $106,260 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
