Job Summary
Position Summary
+ Manages resources and provides leadership to ensure smooth and coordinated daily operations
+ Oversees and continuously improves core processes within the MR department
+ Leads the professional growth and development of team members through education, training, mentoring, and guidance
+ Assists physicians with diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures by preparing patients and operating MR equipment to obtain diagnostic scans
+ Responsible for MR Safety, accreditation, and regulatory compliance
+ Spends approximately 75% of time in the patient care area

Education
+ High School Diploma or GED, required
+ Associate Degree, preferred
+ Graduate of ARRT-approved Radiography Program or MR Program, required
Experience
+ Minimum of three years of experience in MR, required
+ Minimum of two years of supervisory experience, required
Licensure/Certification
+ Certified and registered by ARRT in MR – RT(R)(MR) or RT(MR), required
+ Magnetic Resonance Safety Certified by ABMRS – MRSO (MRSC™), preferred
+ IV Credentialed, required
+ Applicable state license, required

+ Ability to self-direct and coordinate simultaneous job functions
+ Flexibility to adapt to fluctuating workloads
+ Thorough knowledge, skills, and technical expertise in MRI equipment and operation
+ Ability to perform procedures and train team members effectively
+ Excellent communication and leadership skills
+ Strong knowledge of MRI safety, MRI procedures, accreditation, and compliance requirements
+ Familiarity with state and federal regulations (Medicare, HIPAA, etc.)
+ Strong analytical and computer skills
