Direct Support Professional - Day Habilitation

Arc of Onondaga is actively searching for caring, dedicated people that are interested in becoming a part of our team!

As Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) , your role is to provide support to individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, providing hands-on assistance, instruction and guidance, while supporting people as they work to reach their goals and fullest potential .

Ideal Candidate(s):

+ High school diploma or equivalent.

+ Valid NYS driver's license (Required).

+ Has a passion for working with and creating positive, impactful relationships in the lives of the people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

+ Exhibits positive approaches that provide encouragement, mentoring and instruction resulting in effectively achieving and maintaining independence and integration within the community.

Requirements:

+ High School diploma or equivalent

+ Be at least 18 years of age or older

+ A valid NYS driver's license is required
