    Are you an experienced **Medical Billing Specialist** ready to play a vital role in the healthcare revenue cycle? We’re seeking a detail-oriented, customer-focused professional to join our team in **Louisville, Colorado** . You’ll be instrumental in ensuring accurate, timely, and complete claim processing while delivering excellent service to patients and providers.

    Position Overview:

    The **Medical Billing Admin** investigates outstanding and incorrectly adjudicated insurance claims and takes appropriate action to ensure proper and timely processing. This role is essential to our revenue cycle team, focusing on follow-up, claims resolution, and clear communication.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Review Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) to understand and resolve each claim

    + Research reasons for denials or incorrect processing and prepare appeals

    + Follow up on outstanding insurance claims via phone or online portals

    + Submit accurate documentation for both primary and secondary claims

    + Analyze Unapplied Credit Reports; apply credits or submit refund requests

    + Respond to inbound patient calls regarding billing questions

    + Maintain accurate notes and documentation on patient accounts

    + Assist with other duties as assigned by management or physicians

    Requirements:

    + High School Diploma or GED required

    + Minimum 2 years of medical billing and collections experience

    + Strong verbal and written communication skills

    + Ability to work professionally in a fast-paced, sometimes high-stress environment

    + Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and medical billing software (Intergy preferred)

    + Commitment to confidentiality, accuracy, and customer service

    Work Environment:

    This position is based in an office setting in **Louisville, Colorado** and requires frequent use of computers and standard office equipment. Some walking and physical activity may be necessary. Close visual attention to detail is essential for this role.

    **Pay Details:** $20.00 to $25.00 per hour
