This position allows for a hybrid work schedule with a mix of work spent in office and working remote from home .

The EI&C Drafter position modifies complex drawing diagrams, layouts, and detailed drawings. This position interprets and incorporates engineering markups.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

+ Provide general drafting CAD-based mechanical and electrical drawings for O&G projects while expanding knowledge on the application of drafting principles

+ Work under general direction of discipline supervisor in accordance with specific instructions regarding project deadlines, priorities, and budget constraints

+ Utilize company and project drafting standards, adheres to plans and schedules

+ Perform the necessary fieldwork; pulling measurements, locating tie-ins, as-building existing systems, etc.

+ Maintain effective communication with project team members

+ Provide support to other drafters and project team members in order to ensure a complete and timely design deliverable

Qualifications

Essential Skills and Experience:

+ Associates Degree in Computer Aided Design Technology preferred (Mechanical, Civil, Structural, Electrical, etc. acceptable)

+ Previous drafting and field experience NOT required

+ Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills

+ Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, computer-aided design (CAD) and other job related software

+ Customer service oriented with passion for high customer satisfaction and achieving operational excellence; ability to interact with all levels of staff including senior management, internal and external customers

+ Ability to prioritize work flow, multitask, meet deadlines and remain flexible

+ Must be able to demonstrate attention to accuracy on all duties and responsibilities

+ Ability to maintain confidentiality

+ Must comply with Company and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) established safety policies and requirements

Valued, but not required:

+ Associate’s degree in drafting (or equivalent technical degree)

+ Proficient with AutoCAD/CADWorx 2020 and/or newer versions

+ Attention to detail, time management, consistency, accuracy, and organizational skills are essential

+ Able to travel as necessary for client meetings, job site visits, assist in data gathering, etc.

Compensation Range

$38,560.00 - $55,490.00
