    The role of a UX Researcher & Designer at IQVIA involves conducting user experience research, designing and testing user interfaces powered by Large Language Models and Agentic systems, and enhancing usability and user satisfaction. This position is part of the Analytics Center of Excellence, which leverages healthcare data and advanced analytics to innovate clinical research processes, collaborating across teams to develop responsive, user-centric clinical technology applications throughout the product lifecycle.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Define and lead UX research and design projects to ensure user-centric solutions.

    + Plan and conduct user research to gather insights on user needs, behaviors, and pain points.

    + Analyze and synthesize research data to generate insights and inform product strategy.

    + Develop user personas, journey maps, and research artifacts to inform design decisions.

    + Collaborate with managers and team members to translate findings into actionable designs.

    + Plan and conduct usability testing to evaluate the effectiveness of solutions.

    + Stay updated with advancements in UI/UX methodologies and technologies to ensure the application of the latest best practices.

    Qualifications:

    + Educational Background: A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Design, or a related field.

    + Experience: Proven experience (10+ years) in conducting user research, design, and testing.

    + Research Proficiency: Proficiency in both qualitative and quantitative research methods.

    + Design Principles: Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and practices.

    + Required Skills: Excellent analytical and communication skills.

    + Tools and Software: Proficiency with research and design tools such as User Testing, Figma, and Copilot.

    + Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.

    + Leadership: Ability to drive projects as a UX Lead.

    + Self-Management: Self-starting and managing capabilities.

    Desired Skills:

    + Data-driven and goal-oriented: Ability to set self-challenging goals and be driven by data.

    + Vision and strategy: Ability to create a vision and work with business requirements and product strategy.

    + Data visualization: Familiarity with data visualization techniques and tools.

    + Certification: Certification in UX research or design.

    + Experience: Previous experience in a research role within a tech-focused company.

    + Mentorship: Demonstrated ability to mentor junior team members by sharing expertise, fostering growth, and guiding them through complex challenges with practical insights and strategic support

    + Professional proficiency: Applies practical knowledge of the job area typically obtained through advanced education and work experience.

    + Independence and influence: Work independently with general supervision, handle difficult and complex problems, and build positive relationships to influence others within the project area through explanation of facts, policies, and practices.

    The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $98,500.00 - $274,400.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
