About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Manager, Operations to lead and optimize our payment acceptance processes. This role is pivotal in ensuring operational excellence, as well as strategic alignment across our payment systems. You will collaborate cross-functionally with leadership, operations, and external partners to drive innovation, streamline workflows, and support the financial health of the organization. This role will report to the Director of Payment Operations.
Key Responsibilities
+ Partner with senior leadership to develop and execute strategies that enhance financial performance and operational efficiency.
+ Lead and manage end-to-end payment operations projects.
+ Identify and implement process improvements to optimize payment workflows and reduce costs.
+ Utilize project management software to develop detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, and resources.
+ Ensure deliverables meet quality standards and client requirements.
+ Conduct reviews and implement improvements as needed.
+ Conduct operational analysis to uncover trends, risks, and opportunities.
+ Prepare insights to support strategic planning and decision-making.
+ Collaborate with internal departments to ensure effective resource utilization and alignment with business goals.
+ Manage relationships with payment partners to ensure optimal service delivery and product performance.
+ Contribute to the evolution of U-Haul’s financial systems and architecture.
+ Stay current with industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in payment operations and financial technology.
Qualifications
+ Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
+ Proven experience in payment operations, financial operations, or project management within the payments or fintech industry.
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset.
+ Demonstrated leadership and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
+ Proficiency in financial systems, reporting tools, and project management software.
