We're looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Swim Instructor to bring their energy, skill, and commitment to our aquatic programs. Whether you're just getting your feet wet or already making waves in swim instruction, we want YOU to join our team!
What We’re Looking For:
+ You’re at least 16 years old and ready to make a splash!
+ Nationally recognized swim instructor certification (required) OR Successful completion of LHMFC Swim Instructor training within 30 days of hire
+ Heart Saver AED CPR certification or ability to obtain within 60 days
+ You’re a self-starter who is organized, detail-oriented, and can prioritize like a pro
+ A team player who also shines independently
+ Stellar communication skills – verbal, written, and interpersonal
+ Professional, tactful, and confident handling confidential matters
What You’ll Be Doing:
As a Swim Instructor, you’ll be guiding swimmers of all ages and abilities through structured lessons using our proven swim progressions. You’ll teach with confidence, motivate with enthusiasm, and help build water confidence one stroke at a time.
Your day-to-day includes:
+ Delivering top-notch swim instruction using the “show, tell, and do” teaching model
+ Ensuring safety at all times and reviewing pool rules regularly
+ Creating engaging lesson plans tailored to various age levels and abilities
+ Using age-appropriate language and consistent swim terminology
+ Maintaining a clean, organized pool area and reporting any facility needs
+ Jumping into action with lifesaving support when necessary
+ Keeping the fun going while maintaining class structure and student focus
Bonus points if you already have Heart Saver CPR and advanced aquatic certifications!

Shift:
Variable (United States of America)
Schedule: PRN, scheduled as needed based on program participation.
Logan Health operates 24 hours per day, seven days per week. Schedules are set to accommodate the requirements of the position and the needs of the organization and may be adjusted as needed.
PRN positions (also referred to as Casual, As Needed, or Per Diem) at Logan Health offer flexibility and are designed to provide coverage during busy periods, employee absences, and vacations, making them an excellent opportunity to support the team as needed. PRN employees can participate in a matching 401(k) plan and have access to the Employee Assistance Program. Additionally, they may qualify for hourly differential pay for certain shifts or hours, offering extra compensation based on department-specific scheduling needs. Pay rates and scheduling practices may vary by department.
