Marketing Assistant

Job Summary: In accordance with FLACRA’s Mission, Vision, Shared Values and Brand

Pledge, the Marketing Assistant is responsible for assisting in creating, implementing, and

updating a broad-based marketing and outreach strategy to promote the mission and services of

FLACRA. All activities will be aligned with and support FLACRA’s Strategic Plan.

This role is prominent as a face of FLACRA in the community and internally and the employee

will demonstrate professional behavior at all times.

The following duties will apply:

1. Assist with event coordination.

2. Attend both community events and FLACRA activities as needed.

3. Assisting in the concept and production of promotional and informational materials for

FLACRA programs including posters, printouts, brochures, photos, and web-based

marketing.

4. Perform in-person outreach to partners and community members to inform them of FLACRA

services/programs.

5. Work with information databases/mailing lists.

6. Assist with conducting outreach, recruiting volunteers, coordinate projects, public relations,

press releases, fundraising events.

7. Utilize social media such as blogs, web banners, Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok, Twitter,

YouTube, LinkedIn that promote our events and businesses.

8. Develop and maintain agency newsletter.

9. Participate in community events such as health fairs, community forums, workshops, alumni

groups, and recruitment of QHP’s.

10. Collect and maintain data for reports that demonstrate outcomes.

11. Evaluate the implementation of the marketing strategy.

12. Plan employee celebrations and wellness activities.

13. Maintain overall calendar and scheduling of marketing and public relations events.

14. Maintain internal marketing emails to all employees

15. Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma. Must have knowledge of social media

platforms and willingness to learn Valid NYS Drivers’ License.

1. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

9. Ability to work independently and with a team

10. Experience with Facebook, Twitter, TikTok, Instagram and YouTube.
