Our **Cardiovascular ICU (CVICU)** is a high-acuity, fast-paced environment caring for patients after advanced cardiac and thoracic procedures. We are seeking an **experienced and motivated Advanced Practice Provider (APP)** to join our dynamic team.

Position Highlights

+ **Block schedule:** 7 days on / 7 days off, **day shifts only (6a–6p)** for excellent work-life balance.

+ Manage post-operative cardiac patients including CABG, valve replacement, TAVR, Mechanical Circulatory Support (ECMO/Impella)

+ Perform assessments, order/interp diagnostics, and develop treatment plans for critically ill patients.

+ Collaborate with cardiothoracic surgeons, intensivists, and a multidisciplinary team.

+ Procedures may include central line placement, arterial line placement, intubation, dialysis line placement, and other bedside interventions (as credentialed).

+ Supportive environment with opportunities for growth in advanced cardiac critical care.

Qualifications

+ Master's Degree as Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA-C)

+ Current Florida license (or ability to obtain)

+ National board certification (ACNP preferred for NPs)

+ Minimum 1–2 years of CVICU, cardiothoracic, or critical care APP experience preferred (strong ICU background considered)

+ Current ACLS and BLS certifications
