Job Description
**Title:** Social Media Intern
**Department:** Marketing Department
**Location:** In-person (covering 3 clinics)
**Duration:** September 2, 2025 – December 24, 2025
**Hours:** 3–5 hours per week
About the Internship
We are seeking a creative and motivated Social Media Intern to join our Marketing Department. This is a unique opportunity to apply your content creation skills in a real-world healthcare setting, promoting physical therapy, strength and conditioning, and various rehabilitation specialties through professional social media platforms.
Learning Objectives
+ Apply social media content creation and strategy in a healthcare context.
+ Gain industry knowledge in physical therapy, strength and conditioning, and rehabilitation subspecialties.
+ Learn how to effectively position healthcare services for digital growth and engagement on platforms like Meta (Facebook, Instagram), LinkedIn, YouTube, and Google.
Qualifications
Responsibilities
+ Visit and capture photos and videos at three local clinics on a regular schedule.
+ Edit video and photo content to align with brand and platform standards.
+ Draft and prepare engaging social media posts with compelling copy and relevant hashtags tailored to the target audience.
+ Submit content to the Internship Supervisor for review and feedback.
+ Monitor performance metrics and foster online engagement through interaction and analytics tracking.
Required Qualifications
+ Familiarity with Familiarity with Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and Google.
+ Understanding of professional social media best practices, including branding, tone, and audience targeting.
+ Proficiency in photography, videography, photo/video editing, copywriting, and content creation.
+ Ability to work independently and manage a flexible in-person schedule across clinic locations.

Compensation
