Hersman Serles Almond has specialized in providing tax, accounting, and consulting services to leading northwest organizations and families for over 30 years.

We recently merged with Coldstream, an employee-owned, independently operated wealth management firm providing personalized client services to high-net-worth individuals and families. Founded in 1996 and based in Bellevue, we also have offices in Seattle, Mercer Island, Kirkland, Portland, Boise, and Kenai, AK.

The HSA team is seeking a Senior Tax Associate to work closely with Tax Managers, Partners, and other members of our Kirkland team to provide exceptional services to our clients.

Responsibilities will include:

+ Preparing and reviewing complex tax returns for high-net-worth individuals, corporations, and partnerships

+ Regularly interacting with interesting, complex families to help them solve their problems

+ Tax planning

+ Consulting

+ Mentoring junior staff

Required Experience:

+ A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field

+ CPA license

+ 3-5 years of public accounting firm tax experience

+ High proficiency with high-net-worth individuals, corporate, and partnership taxation

+ Interest and experience in tax research

+ Strong written and verbal communication skills

+ Excellent organizational skills, including the ability to juggle multiple client engagements
