As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal at a prominent financial institution, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming and secure environment for all employees, visitors, and guests. In this armed position, you will be responsible for monitoring entry points, verifying credentials, and providing clear communication to those entering the location. Your presence at the front desk helps to deter security-related incidents and maintain order in a high-profile financial setting. You will respond promptly to inquiries, assist with access control, and demonstrate exceptional customer service at all times. What You’ll Do:

+ Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

+ Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education

+ Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams

+ Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service

+ Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

+ Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the front desk of a financial institution location.

+ Monitor access to the building by verifying identification and credentials of employees, visitors, and contractors.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols.

+ Maintain detailed and accurate records of visitor logs, incidents, and other front desk activities as required.

+ Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters.

+ Assist with emergency response activities and/or evacuation procedures as directed by site protocols.

+ Help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity by maintaining a professional presence at the front desk.

What We’re Looking For:

+ Availability across various days and shifts

+ Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments

+ A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company

+ Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements:

+ Possess a current Armed Guard Card or License.

+ Have at least 6 months of experience in armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military roles.

+ Provide a DD214 with Honorable Discharge, or have an Associates Degree or at least 60 college credits, or possess a Police Academy Certificate, or a Corrections Academy Certificate.

+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
