+ As a Fire Sprinkler Inspector, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and compliance of buildings and facilities by inspecting, testing, and maintaining fire protection systems. This position requires a strong understanding of fire codes, standards, and regulations, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.
Responsibilities:
+ Conduct regular inspections of fire protection systems.
+ Sprinkler systems (wet, dry, pre-action, deluge)
+ Fire pumps and controllers
+ Standpipe systems
+ Emergency lighting systems
+ Portable fire extinguishers
+ Kitchen suppression systems (where applicable)
+ Special Hazards systems (where applicable)
+ Identify deficiencies and non-compliance issues and provide recommendations for corrective actions.
+ Prepare detailed inspection reports, documenting findings, test results, and recommendations.
+ Interpret and apply relevant fire codes and standards, such as NFPA, IFC, and local regulations.
+ Communicate effectively with building owners, contractors, and other stakeholders regarding fire safety requirements and inspection results.
+ Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
+ Stay up to date on the latest fire protection technologies, codes, and regulations.
+ Participate in on-call rotation for emergency service.
Qualifications:
+ High school diploma or equivalent required
+ 2+ years of experience in fire protection system installation or inspection, testing, and maintenance.
+ Possess relevant State and/or National certifications, where applicable.
+ Denver License
+ Alarm CSA Exam
+ Strong knowledge of fire codes and standards (e.g., NFPA, IFC, IBC).
+ Familiarity with various fire protection systems and equipment.
+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications.
+ Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
+ Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Physical Requirements:
+ Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
+ Ability to lift at least 50 pounds and work on a ladder.
Job Type:Full-time
Pay:$35.00 - $45.00 per hour
Schedule:8 hour shift - Monday to Friday
