Fire Alarm Service Technician

+ Total Fire and Security is seeking an individual to join our team as a Fire Alarm Service Technician. This position offers competitive compensation with an excellent benefits package. Responsibilities:

+ Test, service and maintain fire alarm, CCTV, card access, and intrusion systems in accordance with applicable NFPA and NEC codes with working knowledge of system controls, alarm panels, devices, and components.

+ Understanding of system schematics and wiring diagrams.

+ Troubleshoot and repair deficiencies.

+ Communicate with internal and external customers in a professional manner.

+ Proper use and operation of tools required to complete the appointment.

+ Complete service calls and/or inspections as scheduled in a timely manner.

+ On-call rotation with other technicians to handle emergency service.

+ Ensure company provided vehicle is clean and well maintained as required by company policies.

+ Ensure that all assigned tools are safeguarded and maintained.

Qualifications:

+ Hight School Diploma or equivalent required.

+ NICET II and/or state required certification required (FAST).

+ Denver License & Alarm CSA Exam

+ Minimum 2 years experience inspecting, servicing and/or installing fire alarm systems required.

+ 2 years experience with Intrusion, CCTV, Card Access preferred

+ Must be able to work alone and as part of a team.

+ Must have mechanical aptitude.

+ Ability to operate a computer, tablet and read electronic blueprints required.

+ Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record required.

Job Type:Full-time

Pay:$30.00 - $42.00 per hour

Schedule:8 hour shift - Monday to Friday
