Sanitation Supervisor

Adecco is proud to partner with our client in the food manufacturing industry to recruit for a **Sanitation Supervisor** . This role reports directly to the Plant Manager and plays a key part in coordinating both short-term and long-term plant cleaning and sanitation goals. The Sanitation Supervisor’s primary responsibility is to ensure a safe, efficient, and effective working environment while leading a team and supporting production success.
Key Responsibilities
Facilitating Daily Production:
+ Ensure the safety of the sanitation crew is the top priority.
+ Enforce GMP and Food Safety requirements.
+ Assign sanitation staff to production areas to complete work on time.
+ Delegate responsibilities effectively to meet plant needs.
+ Coordinate short- and long-term sanitation strategies.
+ Monitor equipment functionality and issue timely work requests for repairs.
+ Collaborate on Corrective Action Reports (CARs) and drive efficiency initiatives.
+ Maintain accurate sanitation records and documentation.
+ Cultivate a positive, team-oriented culture alongside the Manager and Leads.
+ Train and mentor Leads and Operators for career growth.
+ Assist in creating SOPs and work instructions.
+ Provide training, recognition, and corrective actions for employees as appropriate.
Collaboration with Other Departments:
+ Partner with Operations to ensure timely sanitation of production lines.
+ Collaborate with Quality Assurance on environmental monitoring and sampling.
+ Work with Maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and sanitation effectiveness.
+ Support HR in enforcing personnel, safety, and training requirements.
Qualifications
+ 5+ years of leadership experience in sanitation, production, or food manufacturing.
+ Strong knowledge of GMP, Food Safety, and sanitation best practices.
+ Proven ability to manage teams and meet production deadlines.
+ Experience with documentation, audits, and regulatory compliance.
+ Excellent communication, delegation, and problem-solving skills.
Compensation & Benefits
+ Competitive salary 80-95K (DOE) + discretionary bonus.
+ Growth opportunity to progress into a Sanitation Manager role.
**Pay Details:** $80,000.00 to $95,000.00 per year
