Position Summary:
The Warranty Coordinator position will be responsible for processing returned warranty components and working with vendors to ensure all warranty claims are reimbursed correctly. This position will report to our Product Support Manager.
Essential Functions of the Job:
1. Process vendor warranty claims within required time frame.
2. Track all vendor warranty claims and follow-up as necessary to ensure timely payment of claims.
3. Work with vendors to ensure reimbursement of claims have been made to Morbark.
4. All administrative duties of the department to include sending and receiving of parts packages, tracking of packages, and immediate notification to manager if issues arise. Also, working with the quality department to process defective parts found in production.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA’s):
+ Proficient use of all Microsoft programs (word, excel, power point) required. JDE experience preferred.
+ Professional manner and appearance.
+ Strong interpersonal relationship skills.
+ Work on projects independently.
+ Possess strong, clear and effective verbal and written communication skills.
+ Exhibits strong organizational skills and pays close attention to detail.
+ Possess solid problem-solving and analytical abilities.
+ Must be multitask oriented, organized, able to set priorities and meet deadlines.
Education and Experience:
+ High School Diploma or GED required.
+ Associate’s degree or Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.
+ Previous work experience as a warranty coordinator is preferred.
Working Conditions:
Working in the plant- noise, occasional heavy lifting, desk/computer-based work, operating equipment on occassion
