Come join our Team as a Legal Intern for Summer of 2026! We started with pastries handmade by Lois and Lloyd Martin inside of a garage and we have boomed into a multi-facility company where our many products are produced by machines and shipped domestically and internationally. As a member of the Martin’s Family, the corporate Legal Intern will provide support to the Legal Department, which support will include, among other things, assisting with third party audits and reviewing, scanning, and filing contracts. .
Summary: The corporate Legal Intern will provide support to the Legal Department, which support will include, among other things, researching legal issues, assisting with third party audits and reviewing, scanning, and filing contracts into SharePoint. The Legal Intern should be organized and capable of reading and understanding legal documents.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties as assigned.
+ Think logically and reasonably to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems.
+ Maintain legal documents in an organized and orderly manner.
+ Research legal issues.
+ Understand department needs and seek clarification when needed.
+ Draft and review basic legal documents.

Education and/or Experience:
+ High School Diploma or GED
+ Bachelor's Degree
+ Currently attending accredited institution pursuing a degree in Law
Computer Skills:
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
• SharePoint experience a plus
