    Float ER/ICU RN | Travel Contract | October Start – Pleasanton

     

    Start Date: October | 13-Week Contract

     

    We’re seeking an experienced Float ER/ICU RN for a travel assignment at a leading hospital in Pleasanton, California . You will be working in the ER and ICU, and need experience in both, not previous float experience. This role offers the opportunity to work across multiple critical care units, providing high-acuity care in a dynamic environment.

    Position Highlights

    + Location: Pleasanton, CA

    + Setting: Hospital – ICU/ED Float Pool

    + Start Window: October 2025

    + Contract Length: 13 weeks, with potential for extension

    + Schedule: 3x12s (36 hours/week)

    + Shift: Nights

    Required Qualifications

    + Must be a traveler (permanent address 50+ miles from the facility )

    + CA RN License

    + 3+ years of ICU and ED RN experience

    + Certifications:

    + BLS, ACLS, NIHSS (American Heart Association)

    + Experience:

    + EPIC EMR proficiency

    + Previous travel RN experience

    Additional Compliance Requirements

    + TB Questionnaire, PPD, or chest X-ray (if applicable)

    + Current Health Certificate (per contract or state regulation)

    + Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements

    + Successful completion of new hire training as applicable to job site

    + Understanding of patient confidentiality and HIPAA requirements

    + Ability to effectively communicate with supervisors, co-workers, and clients; proficiency in English required

    + Computer proficiency required

    Provide expert nursing care for critically ill patients across ICU and ED units. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care in a fast-paced hospital setting.
