• Scene Shop Manager-Theatre & Dance

    The Department of Theatre & Dance at Western Kentucky University (WKU) seeks applications for a part-time scene shop manager during the academic year, typically mid-August through mid-May. Duties include supervising student workers in the Ttheatre & Dance department Scene Shop and overseeing the construction of sets in department theatre spaces. Additional duties may include assistance with load in and out of shows, ensuring all safety protocols are followed, equipment and facilities maintenance, and purchasing.

    Job Requirements:

    + High School diploma or GED

    + Valid driver's license

    + Experience in carpentry, construction, or theatrical set construction, including familiarity with power tools.

    + Ability to climb stairs, work on ladders, and carry over 40 lbs.

    Additional Information:

    Hourly Rate: $20.00
