The Opportunity ...

As our Controls Engineer, you will report to the Controls Manager.

On a given day, you may:

+ Prepare detailed schematics and working engineering drawings of electrical devices and system.

+ Conduct electrical/hydraulic/pneumatic design, peripheral device programming, machine PLC programming, coordinate the machine debug, power-up, and machine validation with build and electrical teams and provide customer documentation as needed

+ Travel to install site for install and runoffs with customer when applicable and necessary

+ Work with R&D team on new product development projects including design, testing and technical support

+ Provide assembly team with technical support during assembly and managing Final Assembly Test. May also support Field service with remote and onsite technical support.

+ Work on continuous improvement activities to improve product performance, cost and standardization.

+ Commitment to safety, understand risks, safety training, reports and document incidents as required.

+ Ability to interact with company personnel, customers and vendors while representing company in a professional manner.

+ Generate bills of materials from specifications and drawings

+ Work with cross-functional teams to solve problems and develop solutions for customers

+ Integrate Bevcorp equipment with existing machinery in the field

+ Is a controls engineering subject matter expert.

Requirements for the role

+ 3 years experience with Allen Bradley and AutoCAD Electrical

+ BSEE or BSEET is required

+ Packaging or food & beverage experience preferred

+ You must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship now or in the future.

Travel & Location

+ You will be on site at our Eastlake, OH facility.
