    An Employer is hiring a Endpoint Security Engineer for a contract role, who will be supporting the Cyber Security organization. Their main objective is to provide staff augmentation to provide support to the newly deployed / migrated security agent solutions

    GENERAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

    - Ensuring coverage of security agents, and resolving technical issues in deployment, or health of agents working with system owners.

     

    - Provide support to internal employees to resolve issues with agents

     

    - Contribute to the tuning of false positives / negatives and development of configured security policies

     

    - Updating security agents to resolve functional bugs and coordinating change requests

     

    - Operating security processes wrapped around security agent deployments

    Skills and Requirements

     

    - Must have experience with deploying, managing and troubleshooting endpoint security agents

     

    - Must have system administration skills and working knowledge on Windows, Linux and Mac

     

    - Must have hands-on experience in at least two of the following solutions: Crowdstrike EDR, Proofpoint DLP, ThreatLocker

     

    - Must have strong analysis skills including correlating multiple sources of data, host or network based log analysis

     

    Must have ability to communicate and collaborate with peers and other technology partners Optional experience with BigFix or other deployment mechanisms or platforms
