    Job Description

    In Precision Guided Sensing Solutions (PGSS) Product Line, we design and manufacture state-of-the-art sensors and guidance kits that enable our customers to execute their precision strike missions. Our team is currently looking for a combination Maintenance and Rework Technician for the APKWS Production Program.

    _Position is a 2nd shift, 4/10s (Monday-Thursday) Shift differential-_

    _Flexible start time!_

     

    In this role, the candidate will be responsible for Preventative Maintenance activities and light machine repair. The candidate will also be involved with maintaining calibration in the area as the Calibration Coordinator or backup Calibration Coordinator. This will be approximately 50% of the role. The candidate will also be responsible for rework on NC d APKWS production units to troubleshoot and disassemble APKWS product for re-introduction back to the production line.

     

    Generate, review and maintain the technical content of test equipment preventative maintenance procedures, drawings, specifications, reports, and other associated documentation.

    Required Education, Experience, & Skills

    + At least three years of professional experience or an equivalent background in manufacturing

    + Must be able to obtain a DOD security clearance

    + Must be hands on and prepared work closely with assemblers, inspectors, test technicians, and program engineers to work complex issues to closure.

    + The candidate must demonstrate strong technical aptitude, communication skills, leadership skills, and be able to work cross-functionally within the operations organization and with other discipline/functions

    + General Machine maintenance experience

    + Knowledge of circuit analysis, measurement and instrumentation techniques.

    + Knowledge and proficiency in the use of various electronic test equipment such as multi-meters, power supplies, signal generators, oscilloscopes, and network and spectrum analyzers.

    + Knowledge and proficiency in the use PC based test equipment.

    + Knowledge and experience in the use of electronic test and manufacturing techniques for digital and analog technology products.

    + Experience with the operation and maintenance of Thermal and Vibration environmental test equipment-Hands-on skills with the testing and troubleshooting of digital and analog assemblies and circuits.

    + Able to work from a variety of documents including test procedures and specifications, wiring diagrams, schematics. Strong problem analysis and resolution skills.

    + The successful candidate will need be qualified at all the assembly and test operations in the factory as a pre-requisite for the rework portion of the position and may fill in occasionally as needed on the assembly line.

    Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

    + Experience in J-standard and IPC soldering

    + A.S. Engineering/technically related field and 5-10 years of experience.

    + Knowledge in CCA and PCB board repairs

    + Comprehension of engineering change orders

    + Proven experience interpreting wiring schematics, assembly, and crimping

    + Experience communicating with peers and leadership

    + Experience with Grand PM.

    + Experience as a Calibration Coordinator

     

    Pay Information

     

    Full-Time Salary Range: $64723 - $103557

     

    Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
