In this dynamic role, you will conduct routine patrols throughout the premises, remain highly visible to visitors and staff, and respond promptly to security-related situations as they arise. This position is a driving post, so you will also be responsible for safely operating a vehicle during your patrol duties. What You’ll Do:

+ Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

+ Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education

+ Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams

+ Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service

+ Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

+ Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the assigned government location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.

+ Monitor for unusual activity and report any security-related concerns or incidents according to established protocols.

+ Work collaboratively with site personnel and first responders as needed during incidents or emergencies.

+ Maintain accurate and detailed records of daily activities, incidents, and observations as required by Allied Universal and site procedures.

+ Remain alert and attentive while performing patrols and during all assigned duties, adapting to varying working environments and conditions.

What We’re Looking For:

+ Availability across various days and shifts

+ Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments

+ A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company

+ Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements:

+ Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.

+ Must be at least 21 years of age.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.

+ A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
