    The BOM Analyst is responsible for creating, modifying, and maintaining all bills of material. This is a highly important and detail-oriented role that requires the ability to think critically, and problem solve through cross-functional collaboration.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :

    • Audit product to ensure BOM accuracy

    • Create new part assemblies based on Engineering direction

    • Engage in construction of BOMs derived by cross functional communication with internal and external teams

    • Participate in BOM support for design and engineering

    • Perform special cost analysis, prepare reports and other related duties assigned

    • Provide direction and support to internal departments based on BOM requirements

    • Provide custom boat costing information to the Inside Sales team based on custom boat drawings provided by Engineering

    • Work with Engineering, Purchasing, Supply Chain and Marketing to ensure BOM has the correct structure, components, and quantities in Syteline

    Requirements

    + Bachelor's degree desired

    + Three to five years Bill of Materials and/or relevant experience

    + Experience and familiarity with inventory control, kitting, and assembly processes

    + Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills

    + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

    + Additional requirements include familiarity with personal computing software (i.e. MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint), MRP systems (Infor: Syteline)

    + Possesses a strong knowledge of configurator software and fundamental configurator logic

    + Excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively interact with all levels of the organization

    Other Skills/Abilities

    + Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical analysis

    + Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations

    PPE Requirements

    + Safety glasses and safety shoes when inside production areas
