    Occupational Therapist (OT) – $60/hr Local | $2,400/wk Travel | Full-Time | La Mesa, CA | 2025–2026 School Year

     

    Amergis Educational Staffing is seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist to support three school campuses in La Mesa, CA for the 2025–2026 school year. This role begins ASAP with a contract running 36 weeks, and offers flexibility for in-person or hybrid service delivery.

    Position Details:

    + Location: La Mesa, CA

    + Start Date: September 22, 2025 (or ASAP)

    + Duration: 36 weeks

    + Schedule: Monday–Friday

    + Hours: ~30/week

    + Modality: In-person preferred; hybrid considered

    + Pay Rate: $60/hour (local) | $2,400/week (travel)

    + Caseload: ~60 students across 3 campuses

    + Grade Levels: K–12

    + Openings: 1

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Supervise COTA providing most direct services

    + Conduct student evaluations and assessments as needed

    + Attend IEP meetings and contribute to therapy planning

    + Maintain documentation and compliance with district and state guidelines

    + Collaborate with classroom teams and therapy staff

    Minimum Requirements:

    + Current California OT license

    + 1+ year of professional OT experience (preferred)

    + CPR certification, TB clearance, and health certificate as applicable

    + Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements

    + Must be at least 18 years of age
