    Job Description

    Insight Global is seeking a former fighter pilot to join a federal client in Des Moines, IA as a Secret Mission Planner. This person will join a team providing high-value engineering and technology solutions for multi-domain training, creating realistic lived and synthetic training environment that provide real-world mission rehearsal support. The Mission Planner will help support the mission by using prior hands-on experience and skills as a former fighter pilot to help train and run simulators for future pilots.

     

    Compensation: $76/hr to $80/hr.

     

    Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

     

    Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.

    Skills and Requirements

     

    - Must meet basic requirements of an Event Controller SME

     

    - Must know how to use stimulation software applications

     

    - Must understand basic AFTTP 3-1 TTPs and Joint Warfare Publications

     

    - Experience in running or planning in an active mission planning cell

     

    - Qualified or previously qualified mission commander, section lead, or equivalent

     

    - Experience in creating and disseminating CONOPS and Products IAW current Air Force or

     

    DoD Styles.
