    Insight Global is looking for a Data Scientist in India to support their Fortune 500 Manufacturing client. We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Business Reporting Data Analyst to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong financial background and a passion for transforming complex data into actionable insights. You will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining financial reports and dashboards that support strategic decision-making across the organization.

    Skills and Requirements

     

    Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Data Science, or a related field.

     

    3+ years of experience in a data analyst or financial reporting role.

     

    Advanced proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, etc.) and SQL.

     

    Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar data visualization tools.

     

    Strong understanding of financial concepts such as P&L analysis, cost variance, and cash flow modeling.

     

    Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and data warehousing (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift) is a plus.

     

    Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally. Experience with Python or R for data analysis.

     

    Knowledge of financial reporting standards (GAAP, IFRS).

     

    Exposure to Agile or Waterfall project methodologies.

     

    Certifications such as CFA, CPA, or data analytics credentials (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
